The circus is coming to town! The National Circus Project will once again be returning to MPES on November 26th through November 30th. There will be an evening performance by our fourth graders on Friday, November 30th at George Fischer Middle School.
Each year our students look forward to learning from the performers who spend the week teaching them circus “skills.” Our fourth graders benefit the most from the circus through self-esteem building and goal reaching as their experience culminates in an evening performance to proudly show off their accomplishments for friends and family.
Many of you are familiar with the assemblies and workshops the performers and students participate in, but as a fourth grader this year your child will learn to perfect their skills in what is known as target time during school. Target time allows your child to practice and strengthen their particular skill to get them ready for Friday night’s performance.
It's that time of year already! We need parent volunteers to help our students shop for their holiday items as well as wrap the presents. You may sign up for more than one time slot if you are available. As always thank you for your support. Happy Holidays!
