| Once again this year’s yearbook will feature a cover designed by one of our 4th grade students! All 4th graders are invited to submit an original design that shows how Matthew Paterson represents Resiliency and this year’s theme Our School is More Than a Building. This school year we have learned that learning can happen no matter where we join the class. And, being resilient means being flexible and adapting to whatever situation we face. Think about what this means for our school.
There will be one winning design for the front cover and the runner-up design will be used for the back cover. Designs will be chosen by teachers, staff, and administration at Matthew Paterson. The identity of the artists will not be known until after judging is complete. All entries will be featured inside the yearbook.
If you would like to submit a design, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Draw your design on an 8 ½ x 11 inch sheet of paper. The paper must be oriented as portrait. Do not turn the paper sideways (landscape).
- Write your name and your teacher’s name on THE BACK of the paper.
- Student and teacher names CANNOT be part of the design.
- Make your design colorful!
Submit entries to the MPES PTO by either bringing them into school or mailing them to the school at 100 South Street, Patterson, New York 12563.
