National Circus Project is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization in the United States. The organization was founded in 1984 by JeanPaul Jenack and Meryl Shaffer to teach circus skills in school, as a way to combine physical movement and the arts. The Project is an educational outreach program, an arts-in-education program, a physical education external program, and a cultural arts external program.

Each year the MPES PTO brings The National Circus Project to Matthew Paterson for a full week of learning and fun! There are activities for students of every ability. Students in all grades try different activities during their physical education classes during the week. Then on Friday night, the 4th graders treat us to a show filled with the acts they have been practicing!

Try something new! You just might be good at it!
